With over 20 years’ experience working with leading entrepreneurs, global thought leaders and organisations, Vanessa accelerates purposeful work, innovation, brands and business for greater impact.

Currently, Vanessa serves as the Strategic Projects Lead (Payments) at Payments NZ, where she is responsible for developing a ten-year plan for payments modernisation and future digital identification frameworks for New Zealand.

In addition to this role, Vaness is on the advisory board for Wych Money, a Member of the Board of Trustees for The New Zealand Dance Company, a growth advisor for Creative Caring Australia, and a mentor for The Founders Institute and UTS Rapid Value Creation.

She is also a startup advisor and investor, a judge for The Finnie Awards and Pause Awards, and is the founder of the Intersekt FinTech Festival and the Finnie Awards, highlighting Fintech’s contribution to the Australian finance sector. As a result of her work at FinTech Australia, she was recognised as one of the Top 100 Global Women in Fintech.

Vanessa’s first career was in the performing arts as dancer, singer, pianist and songwriter and she brings many of the skills, attributes, storytelling, collaboration and creativity that she learned as a performer to helping leaders create impact and engagement.
