Building on 20 years of contribution to international standards and consortia, Colin has amassed a treasure-trove of knowledge on comparative digital identity policy and practice across the globe. After 5+ years leading Kantara he stepped back in June 2021 to reclaim his New Zealand residency and dual citizenship to enable an ‘endless summer’ between the UK and NZ. During this time Colin co-founded and directed Estonian incorporated Kantara Initiative Europe (closed Dec ’21) most widely known for its role in the H2020 funded NGI-Trust consortium 2019 – 21).Well connected and highly respected in industry and standards consortia over many years, Colin was named in OWI’s Top 100 Influencers in Identity in 2018.
