Kristy is Chair of Hospitality New Zealand, appointed in June 2025. With a background spanning restaurant ownership, massage therapy, and business leadership, she brings hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the sector.

Now Business Manager at Barker’s Foodstore & Eatery, Kristy oversees operations in both Geraldine and Auckland. A long-time industry advocate, she has served on the HNZ Board since 2018 and held roles including Branch President, Finance Committee Head, and Vice President.

She is passionate about hospitality, good governance, and supporting the next generation of industry leaders.
